I'm not a dealer. Can I still sell my equipment?
Yes. Owner-operators, contractors, and farmers list here too. Apply to become a vendor from your dashboard just like a dealer, then choose "Private Owner" as the seller type on your listing.
Do I have to list a price?
No. The price is optional, and you can set the price terms to firm, negotiable, make an offer, call for price, or auction. Listings with a price are easier for buyers to compare.
How should I price my machine?
Search for the same make, model, and year to see what comparable equipment is listed for, then adjust for hours, condition, and attachments.
Can I trade my equipment instead of selling it?
Yes. Set the listing type to "For Trade" or "For Sale or Trade" and use the "Will Trade For" field to describe what you are looking for in exchange.
How does the sale actually happen?
You and the buyer agree on price, payment, pickup, and paperwork directly. Heavy Equipment Trade does not process payments, so use a payment method you trust and provide a bill of sale — and the title, where your equipment has one.
