For anyone shopping for new or pre-owned heavy equipment.
Do I need an account to browse?
No. Anyone can search and browse listings. You need a free, email-verified account to message sellers and leave reviews.
How do I find the right machine?
Search by make, model, or keyword, then narrow the results by equipment type and by new or pre-owned. You can also browse every category, from excavators and forklifts to bucket trucks and grinders.
What's the difference between new and pre-owned?
New equipment is listed in new condition. Pre-owned covers everything else — used machines in excellent to fair shape, equipment that needs repair, and machines sold for parts. Check the hours, tire or track life, and service history on each listing.
Can I inspect equipment before I buy?
Arrange it with the seller. Listings show whether an inspection report is available, you can ask questions by message, and many sellers offer a video walkaround. For a major purchase, inspect in person or hire an independent inspector.
Is financing or delivery available?
Each seller sets their own options. Check the listing's Financing Available and Delivery & Shipping details, then confirm terms with the seller.
Can I post what I am looking for?
Yes. Vendors can publish a "Wanted" listing describing the equipment they want to buy, so sellers can reach out to them.
Does Heavy Equipment Trade guarantee listings?
Listings are created by independent sellers, and we do not inspect equipment or take part in the sale. Read the seller's reviews, ask questions, and verify the machine and its paperwork before you pay.
